Mark Surrette is managing partner of the Halifax office. With over 25 years of executive search experience, Mark has recruited more CEOs and senior executives than any other consultant in Atlantic Canada. As a result, he has worked closely with many of the region's boards of directors and senior management teams recruiting key executives from across Canada and the U.S. Named one of Atlantic Canada's Top 50 CEOs three times during his career, by Atlantic Business Magazine, Mark enjoys the variety of his work and brings the same drive and dedication that built the largest HR consulting firm in Eastern Canada to each assignment.
He is a strong advocate for Atlantic Canada and the lifestyle it provides. Mark is a firm believer in adding value back into the community and freely donates his time and expertise to various causes and organizations. Most recently he served as Chair of the "Great Big Gig" for three years and under his leadership the event raised over $340,000 for the IWK Health Centre. He recently concluded his two year term as Chair of the Board of Governors for the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame Dinner and is past president of the Young President's Association, Atlantic Chapter. He is currently in his second term as Honorary Consul General of Japan at Halifax.
Mark received a bachelor of commerce degree from Dalhousie University and his MBA from Saint Mary's University.
