Sheila L. Ross

Sheila has over 20 years of executive search experience focusing on the recruitment of senior executives in the financial services, retail and service industries. Clients have included several major Canadian chartered banks, pension funds, investment managers, stock exchanges and prominent retailers.  Sheila has a proven track record of successful appointments across all functional areas.

Sheila began her career in executive search in 1985 as a founding partner of Illsley Bourbonnais and later with Heidrick & Struggles. Prior to entering executive search, Sheila worked in the oil & gas and hospitality industries.

Sheila holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia.  She served, for many years, as a Director of Home Capital Group, a publicly traded, regulated financial institution, where she was the Chair of the Compensation Committee.
