Mary Matthews

Mary Matthews is a Managing Director in the New York office of Diversified Search Ray & Berndtson where she leads the Life Sciences Practice. She is also a member of the Private Equity Practice.

With over 20 years in executive search, Mary is highly experienced with extensive knowledge of a wide range of industries and sectors in addition to her current specializations. Assignments have ranged from recruiting at Board and senior director level for multinational conglomerates to general management roles in entrepreneurial enterprises for private equity firms.

Prior to joining Diversified Search Ray & Berndtson, Mary was a Senior Client Partner with KornFerry International. She also founded and operated her own executive search firm. Earlier she held marketing positions with Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation, and Florida National Bank.

Mary holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida State University and studied for a master’s degree in organizational psychology at Columbia University.
