A native of Ottawa, Eric brings a valuable background in communications, market research and the federal civil service to the Ray & Berndtson search team. He is currently a Partner on Ray & Berndtson Ottawa's non-profit and municipal sector practice teams. His understanding of complex organizations, diverse background, and customer service approach have made him a valuable asset to many of Ray & Berndtson's clients.
Over the past decade, Eric has worked in Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa and overseas. His previous positions include Marketing Consultant for ING Bank, Director of Operations for Decima Research, and writer within the Health Protection Branch of Health Canada. He is currently conducting research for an article on best practices in municipal recruitment, to be published later this year.
Eric is fluently bilingual, with all of his pre-university education completed entirely in French through the French Catholic School Board of Eastern Ontario. He is a guest speaker at Algonquin College's "Business English" program, and a member of l'Association canadienne-francaise de l' Ontario as well as the International Association of Business Communicators.
Eric holds a B.A. from the University of Ottawa. Outside work, he likes to travel and spend time at his cottage on the East coast. He and his wife Monika have two children, Elena and Daniel.
