Markus Kaiser

Markus Kaiser is Managing Partner for Austria and Central Eastern Europe, where he heads the following practices:Business & Professional Services, Financial Services/Insurance, Consumer Products & Services and Public Sector & Not for Profit. With more than 12 years experience in top-management consulting, he also focuses on CFO Searches. Markus is part of the management team of Ray & Berndtson CEE in Vienna and is responsible for the office in Bucharest.

Markus started his career at L’Oréal/Lancôme and later joined Horváth & Partners, one of the Top-15 German-based management consulting companies, in 1995 becoming international managing partner at the age of 31 in 2000. During his time with Horváth, he specialized in strategy development, process management & organization and finance & controlling, mainly in the Financial Services, Industrial, Consumer Products and Public sectors. While being responsible for marketing and business development in Austria, he also looked after various key public accounts and a number of companies listed on the Austrian Stock Exchange (ATX). At group level, he coordinated a number of programs covering acquisition & sales and was member of the group’s innovation team.

Markus holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien.
