Oliver Howl's extensive recruitment experience covers appointments across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, logistics, business services, retail financial services and not-for-profit. Oliver opened the Birmingham office of Odgers Ray & Berndtson at the beginning of 2000.
His executive search and selection career started with Norman Broadbent where, following a period in executive financial recruitment, he spent 9 years. Operating out of Birmingham, he dealt not only with Midlands based clients but also as the national lead with the European offices to promote and support pan-European projects.
Prior to this, Oliver worked in engineering with GEC Turbine Generators before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant working with Coopers and Lybrand. Post qualification, he joined a Midlands based financial services conglomerate as their Group Financial Controller.
Oliver is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and French from the University of Bath.
