Bob Greenwood

Bob Greenwood is a Partner and Head of the Aberdeen office of Odgers Ray & Berndtson. He also leads the Oil & Gas Practice. 

Bob’s focus is search led senior technical, professional and managerial appointments.  He specialises in Oil and Gas, as well as in Human Resources recruitment. 

Initially working with Debenhams and The Burton Group in HR, Bob diversified into Construction and Property in the mid 1980’s.  He then went into the Oil and Gas sector by joining US Oil major, Chevron, in 1986.  Bob moved to Aberdeen with Chevron in 1994 and subsequently spent time with Italian oil company Agip/ENI.  His last position in a functional role was as Group HR Manager with the US IT Corporation SAIC Ltd.

Bob moved into executive search and selection in 1997.  Previous positions in executive search include Scotland Managing Director for Norman Broadbent, Operations Director for Munro Consulting and Head of Oil and Gas Practice for BNB Resources plc.

Bob has a BSc Hons in Earth Sciences.  He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a Member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and a Member of the Institute of Energy (IoE).  He has a post-graduate diploma in Human Resources Management.
