She has also achieved a Certificate in Personnel Management (CPM) and holds a related Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation. Donna is an accredited member of the International Outplacement Institute, with a representative case study selected for inclusion in Volume 1 of the "Excellence in Outplacement practice" compilation distributed to members. An active volunteer, she is a past Vice-Chair of the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa and past Board Member on the Executive, Governance, Accreditation, Medical Advisory and Corporate Planning Committees.
Her Executive Search experience was utilized by QCH in the facilitation of the Board's determination and confirmation of the former CEO. Donna was also a QCH Board Member of the Valley Alliance (four rural community hospitals, QCH as the regional hub) that was viewed by all institutions as a key initiative throughout the Ontario Health Services Restructuring planning and communication processes.
