John Axworthy

John Axworthy is a Partner in the Financial Services Practice at Odgers Ray & Berndtson. John joined in February 2008 as Head of the Investment Banking Practice.

John has been recruiting corporate financiers since the early nineties, during which time he has completed numerous assignments for Investment Banks in their generalist, sector and country coverage teams.

In 1999 John established his own executive search firm, The Charterhouse Partnership, which focused purely on the investment banking sector and completed assignments from VP to MD level for both boutiques and major bulge bracket banks.  In 2006 he established the investment banking and private equity practice of a rival search firm. 

John is a graduate of the University of East Anglia.
