Anthony Archer is a member of the Public Sector & Not for Profit Practice of Odgers Ray & Berndtson's London office. He was formerly a member of the firm's Financial Services Practice, advising a wide range of clients in both the financial services and business and professional services sectors.
Anthony has recruited to a wide range of roles, covering most functions at Board and senior management level. He has particular experience of recruiting finance and regulatory professionals. In addition to specialising in both these functional areas, Anthony leads the firm's practice serving trade associations and also advises faith-based charities. Prior to entering the executive search industry in 1988, he spent eight years in investment banking. He worked both in London and New York, initially with SG Warburg and later County NatWest.
Anthony graduated in law from the University of Birmingham, before qualifying as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse. He is a member of the General Synod of the Church of England and a former member of the Crown Nominations Commission.
