Next Governor for the Bank of Canada is named

The appointment of Mark Carney as the next Governor of the Bank of Canada was announced in the Canadian press on 4 October 2007. Ray & Berndtson is proud to have completed this high profile and most important mandate.
Mr Carney, 42, is currently senior Associate Deputy Minister of Finance in Canada.He will take up his new post on 1 February 2008 when current Governor David Dodge's seven year term in office expires.
